Stamped Bookmarks & Branded Offers: A Little Behind‑the‑Scenes Update

Why I Use Branded Items in My Handmade Work
Branding is a quiet but important part of handmade card making. My Artful Cards stamp helps:
• give each item a clear identity
• keep my cards and bookmarks consistent
• make offer items feel premium
• show customers that every piece is made by hand
It’s a small detail, but it makes a big difference. When someone receives a card or bookmark with my stamp on the back, they instantly know it’s been made with care, not mass‑produced.

Creating on a Budget: Why I Use Tools Instead of Printer Ink
A lot of people don’t realise that I run Artful Cards on a tight budget. I create everything using my benefit money, and I can’t always afford the most expensive crafting tools or machines. Printer ink especially is costly, so I’ve built a studio setup that lets me create without relying on printing at all.
I use:
• peel‑off stickers for clean sentiments
• patterned papers instead of printed backgrounds
• alphabet stencils with pens for names and ages
• my Artful Cards stamper for branding
• a thank‑you stamper (coming eventually!) for packaging and inserts
These tools last a long time, save money, and keep everything handmade. They help me continue creating even when things are tight.

Why I Have a GoFundMe.
Because I fund everything myself, I set up a GoFundMe as a gentle way for people to support my creative journey. It helps me buy materials, tools, and supplies when I can’t stretch my budget any further. There’s no pressure — it’s simply there for anyone who enjoys my work and wants to help me keep growing Artful Cards.
Every little bit goes straight back into crafting: cardstock, patterned papers, peel‑offs, envelopes, and tools that help me make new designs.

A Look at the Updated Offer Cards and Bookmarks
The offer cards currently on my site now include:
• refreshed designs
• clean peel‑off sentiments
• patterned papers
• and a stamped bookmark included with some bundles
The stamp on the back gives them a finished, boutique feel — even when they’re part of a discounted offer. It’s lovely seeing them lined up on my cutting mat, each one with its own little identity.

Creating Slowly, Posting Monthly
I like to keep my shop updated with new designs monthly, which gives me time to create at a calm pace. I’ll be adding a new photo to the blog this weekend showing one of the stamped bookmarks and an offer card together — a small behind‑the‑scenes moment from my studio.
Handmade work takes time, and I enjoy sharing these updates as my tools, designs, and ideas grow.
